Ingredients:
Mint leaves (Pudina) - 2 cups
Dry red chillies - 5-6
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind - 1 inch piece
oil - 2-3 tbsp
Preparation:
- Heat 1tbsp oil in a frying pan and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies and urad dal and fry 2 mins.let it cool down.
- Now add 1tbsp oil , mint leaves and tamarind to the same pan and cook it for 2-3 mins,keep stirring once it is cooked switch off the stove and let it cool down.
- Now add salt and grind all the ingredients finely.
- Spicy mint (pudina) chutney is ready it tastes great with rice.
