Ingredients:
Carrots ( 1 LB )
Moong Dal ( 1/4 cup )
Green chillies ( 3-4)
Onion ( 1 )
Salt to taste
Oil ( 2-3 tsp)
Cumin seeds ( 1/4 tsp)
Mustard Seeds ( 1/4 tsp)
Turmeric ( 1/4 tsp)
Cilantro to garnish
Preparation:
- Take a pan add oil , cumin seeds , mustard seeds fry for a min.
- Add green chillies and Onion , turmeric and fry till onion is golden brown.
- Add Moong dal and fry for 2 mins then add carrots , salt to taste and cook until carrots are cooked well (5-6 mins) stir occasionally.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
