Whole chicken (cut in medium size)
Tumeric powder(1/2 tsp)
Gramasala (1 tsp)
Red chillie powder( 1 1/2 tbs)
Salt (to taste)
Ginger garlic paste (1 1/2 tbs)
Daniya powder ( 1 tbs)
Dry coconut powder (1 1/2 tbs)
Oil (3 tbs)
Onion ( 1 large size)
Green Chillies (2 chillies)
Lemon ( 1 full size)
Cilantro ( finely chopped)
Cumin seeds (1/4 tsp)
Procedure:
- In large bowl,marinate chicken pieces,tumeric powder,red chilli powder, gramasala,salt,gingergarlic paste,daniya powder and lemon jucie(half lemon).
mix it well and keepaside for half hour. - In large pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds , finely chopped onions,green chillies cook for 2 mins .
- Add marinated chicken into the pan and mix it well and cook for 5-10 mins .
- When the chicken is almost done add cocnut powder and the rest of the lemon juice.
- Cook the chicken for another 5-10 mins in low heat.
- Garnish with cilantro and your chicken fry is ready.
