All-Purpose-Flour (2 cups)
Sugar (1 1/4 cup)
Butter (1/2 cup)
Pineapple essence (1 tsp)
Baking powder (3 tbs)
Eggs (4 egg whites)
Milk (1/2 cup)
Pineapple chucks (1/2 cup)
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350F.Grease 9 inch round cake pan with butter.
- In large bowl,mix butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy then add pineapple essence and milk.
- Add egg whites and mix them until all wet ingredients are mixed well together.
- Add flour and baking powder into the bowl of wet ingredients and mix until flour is moist.
- Add finely chopped pineapple into the cake batter and mix well.
- Pour batter evenly into greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 mins.You can check the cake by inserting toothpick in middle comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool down completely before enjoying the cake.
