Plantains ( 2 )

Oil ( 2-3 tbsp )
Salt to taste
Red chilly powder ( 1tsp )
Coriander powder ( 1 tsp )
Cumin seeds ( 1/4 tsp )
Mustard Seeds ( 1/4 tsp )
Turmeric ( 1/4 tsp )
Cilantro to garnish
Preparation:
- Cut the plantains into half and boil them for 8mins.
- Peal the skin off and cut them into thin slices.
- Take a pan add oil , cumin seeds , mustard seeds, onion , turmeric and fry until onion is transperent.
- Add the plantian slices and fry them for about 5 mins until they are crispy , add 1 or 2 tsps of oil if needed.
- Then add Red chilly powder, Salt to taste and coriander powder ,mix it well and fry for 2 mins.
- Garnish with cilantro .Plantain fry is ready to serve, It goes well with white rice.
